About the founder

"I made every early management mistake. Then I built the system I wish I'd had."

01 / Who writes this?
Me — Andrea. I'm a Group Manager with 7+ years leading data and analytics teams across Finance, Media, and Tech. I came up through technical IC roles and made the jump into management without a playbook. Everything I write comes from doing this job, right now, inside real organizations. Not from a course. Not from a consulting deck.
02 / Why does Code to People exist?
Because most management content is written for people who've already figured it out. I write for the ones who haven't yet — the engineers, data scientists, PMs, and analysts who just got promoted and are quietly terrified. Every issue is one real skill, one real scenario, one thing to try Monday morning.
03 / Is this for me?
Probably yes if you're:
  • A new or aspiring manager from a technical background
  • In years 1–5 of managing people
  • Someone who wants frameworks and specifics — not motivational fluff

Probably not if you're a seasoned executive, a C-suite leader, or looking for technical skills content.
04 / What's actually in the newsletter?
One people-leadership skill per week. A real situation I've navigated — or watched others navigate badly. The framework I use. And one specific thing you can apply that same week. Free, every Tuesday, no ads.

The guide nobody hands you when you get promoted.

Free, weekly. Written from inside the room.
